At Actualise, we know that once we understand the messages that a person is trying to communicate using their behaviour, we can help them and those closest to them make the changes that will help them communicate this message in other ways. We use the most current assessment and interventions to support our clients.
We focus on assessing how a person’s environment and lifestyle can be changed to help them while learning new skills to help them communicate, socialise, learn and cope better. We are particularly passionate about helping our clients to effectively learn the skills that they require.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) are concerned with identifying the messages that our behaviour communicates. From a child with Autism who doesn’t use words to communicate, a teenager with ADHD who’s behaviour is leading to suspensions from school, to an employee who is experiencing conflict in the workplace, Positive Behaviour Support can help us to understand the person behind the behaviour and the message that they are trying to communicate.
We specialise in offering Behaviour Support for clients with a range of issues including:
- Poor Concentration
- Behavioural Difficulties
- Emotional and Social Difficulties
Who we support-
- Social Care Services
We provide direct support here at our clinic at DCU Alpha and can arrange site-visits on request. You can arrange an appointment by calling us or emailing email@example.com
We also provide workshops and training on a range of behavioural issues at our Learning Suite here at Actualise. Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date on these.
