We are delighted to introduce a full suite of Clinical Psychology services at the Actualise Clinic. These services will be delivered by Clinical Psychologists Dr. Rosemary Keane (our Clinic Manager) and Dr. Aisling Ryan.

Services include:

  • Clinical and Educational Assessments
  • Groups for parents and teachers/educators (e.g. Helping Your Child Manage Anxiety)
  • Individual Therapy Sessions

Dr. Aisling Ryan is Clinical Psychologist both at Actualise and in the Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum. She has recently completed clinical psychology training (DClinPsych) at Trinity College Dublin. Her doctoral thesis focused on emotional regulation interventions in psychosis. She previously completed her masters (Msc(Healthcare) in Applied Psychology for Children and Young people in University of Edinburgh with placements in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services NHS Grampian, Scotland. This masters qualified her as Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) and her research explored young people’s understanding of mental health and their recommendations for psychological services. Aisling has a number of years of experience working with adults and older adults with complex mental health difficulties as an Assistant Psychologist, in St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services. She has also worked as with families and young people as a Family Project Worker for Barnardos, Researcher with Headstrong and Youth Worker for Citywise Education. Aisling is particularly interested in supporting emotional regulation to enhance wellbeing and functioning and the role of neurofeedback in intervention.
